ALL SECRET MISSIONS IN DEVIL MAY CRY 5
Learn where to find all the secret missions hidden throughout the main story in Devil May Cry 5.

There are a dozen secret missions hidden throughout the main story of Devil May Cry 5. Finding the location of all these secret missions can be tough, as many are in hard-to-reach places. Luckily for you, we’ve done a lot of the legwork and have managed to find all 12 secret missions!
All Secret Mission Locations
The secret missions in Devil May Cry 5 offer players various challenges. These challenges might include defeating enemies before the timer runs out or reaching the end of the level without touching the ground. Successfully completing a secret mission rewards a blue orb fragment, which helps increase the maximum vitality of Nero, V, and Dante.
Each secret mission appears in the game as a red runic marking on the wall. These markings can only be viewed from a specific angle. You will need to locate the markings, and then work out where to stand in order to see the full rune.
Secret Mission 1
The first secret mission is in Mission 2, in the main house. After entering the house and fighting through the floors, you will walk down a long hallway where tentacles burst out of the walls. Enter the room on the side and a short cutscene will play, showing the secret mission markings.
Secret Mission 2
The next secret mission is in Mission 3. When in the sewer, find the stairwell with the Grim Grip. Go to the bottom of the stairs, stand near the barred door, and look up to find the markings.
Secret Mission 3
Secret mission 3 is found in Mission 4. This secret mission requires two Nidhog Hatchlings in order to be found. Grab the first Nidhog from the bridge and then continue to the streets. Look for the huge graffiti of the woman and skeleton and then summon Nightmare to break a hole in the building. Jump into the building and fight to the end to get the second Nidhog. Locate the first blocker to use the Nidhog on and then use the second. Climb to the top of the building and look out the window toward the ground to unlock the secret mission.
Secret Mission 4
Secret mission 4 is found in Mission 5. Fight through the construction site until you reach a yellow truck. Summon Nightmare to break down the wall in front of the truck and then defeat the enemies. Climb the stairs on the side to the top to view the full markings.
Secret Mission 5
Secret mission 5 is in Mission 8. At the top of one of the elevators is a Grim Grip that can be used to reach a ledge. Jump from the ledge down into the next area and aim back up to spot the secret mission markings.

Secret Mission 6
Secret mission 6 is located in Mission 9. Fight through the level to reach a large area with a side path doorway blocked by roots. Summon Nightmare to break the roots away. Walk up the stairs at the rear and turn around to face the doorway to find the red runes.
Secret Mission 7
Secret mission 7 is found in mission 10. Progress deeper into the level into a room with a door on either side. One door will contain a gold orb and the other has a path that leads to the secret mission.
Secret Mission 8
Secret mission 8 is in Mission 11. This secret mission is at the top of a tower that must be lowered by destroying roots. Look for the black and white floor where a root must be destroyed. Break the root then jump to the upper level of the tower to find the secret mission.
Secret Mission 9
Another secret mission is found in Mission 12. Once you unlock the blood fountain, go into the caves below it and follow the path. Jump up the steps and turn around. Jump to the ledge and then face the steps to reveal the secret mission marking.
Secret Mission 10
Secret mission 10 is in mission 14. Continue along the main path until you destroy the second blood root. Once the root is destroyed, walk into the area it was blocking, turn around, and look up to spot the secret mission marking.
Secret Mission 11
Secret mission 11 is found during Mission 15. After reaching the divine statue shop, go behind the shop to find a secret side-area. Use the Gerbera Devil Breaker to dash up the steep path on the right-hand side. At the top is a little balcony overlooking the area. Stand on the ledge and aim up at the roof to spot the secret mission.
Secret Mission 12
The last secret mission is in Mission 16. Pass through the beginning of the level until you reach the room with the spinning lizard demons. Clear out the demons and go through the doorway. Jump down to the ledge on the left and then into the little cave. Turn around to spot the secret mission runes.
There are a lot of hidden goodies tucked away in Devil May Cry 5 and the secret missions are some of the best. By finding all the secret missions, you’ll be one step closer to maxing out your vitality – so long as you can actually complete the challenge!
