With the full release here, players have been hunting camos in awe of the revamped challenge method.
Here's how to unlock gold within Modern Warfare 2022.
How To Get Gold Camo In Modern Warfare 2
Gold camo is iconic within the Call of Duty franchise, and within MW2 they've made it a lot easier for players to earn this camo.
Bascially, you're going to need to complete four specific challenges related to the weapon you're using. These challenges will further unlock as you level up the weapon.
Once this is done, you're going to need to complete the gold camo challenge, which is always "Earn 10, 3 kill streaks while using this weapon."
Here's what Infinity Ward has had to say regarding the camo challenges within the game.
For example, the M4 has the following Base Camo Challenges:
- Get [REDACTED] Kills with the M4. Unlocks the [REDACTED] Camo.
- Get [REDACTED] or more Kills with the M4 without reloading [[REDACTED] times. Unlocks the [REDACTED] Camo. (Challenge unlocked at Weapon Level 7.)
- Get [REDACTED] Double Kills with the M4. Unlocks the [REDACTED] Camo. (Challenge unlocked at Weapon Level 13.)
- Get [REDACTED] Triple Kills with the M4. Unlocks the [REDACTED] Camo. (Challenge unlocked at its Max Weapon Level, Level 20.)
Complete all the above to unlock the M4 Gold Camo Challenge (the first “Mastery” Camo Challenge).
