One Day

Fallout is one of the most iconic franchies that the gaming world has to offer, and with 76 maintaing in recent years, Bethesda has confirmed the next game is coming, eventually.
Fallout 5 Confirmed To Release After Elder Scrolls 6 By Bethesda
While this isn't really groundbreaking news for fans of the series, Bethesda's Todd Howard has confirmed in an interview to IGN, that the next iteration of Fallout is coming one day.
Howard noted the following to IGN.
"Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate’s pretty full going forward for a while. We have some other projects that we look at from time to time as well."
The notion of Elden Scrolls 6 being in pre-production is daunting, as this ideally means that the game is still 4-6 years away at best.
Howard reiterated fans complaints of Bethesda taking years to produce their beloved titles by noting:
"They do take a while, I wish they came out faster, I really do, we’re trying as hard as we can, but we want them to be as best as they can be for everybody."
So, maybe we'll see a release sometime this decade?
