Fortnite has been undergoing one of its best periods in recent memory, as with the new season releasing, there is a ton of content for players to check out
Now, we’re gearing up for the brand new update for the new season, and the on-going event to kick off the new season has begun.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Event: Chest, Map Changes and More
In regards to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2’s release date, as of now it’s expected to release on March 8, 2024, but Epic has something planned first.
If you’ve played Fortnite in the last day or so, you may have noticed the massive hand holding a chest that has now appeared on the map.
This is going to be the kick-off of the event, as players are trying their hardest to crack open this chest, and according to rumors from ShiinaBR the next phase will be some sort of tornado spawning around the map.
We’re sure this is going to change the map up quite a bit, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we learn more information.
