Hollow Knight Silksong is without a doubt one of the most anticipated games in the 2020s, and Team Cherry has finally released their next title.
Silksong differs in various aspects, but certainty in how the game is structured, as this time around the game is split into Acts.

Team Cherry has been keeping the majority of Silksong under wraps for years, and with the game finally released, it's nothing short of a challenging improvement on its predecessor.
Silksong differs from the original Hollow Knight in many regards and the way the main story is structured is one of the glaring differences. Hornet is pushed into Act 1 right from the get-go, and players will be progressing up towards the Citadel to save Pharloom.
If you're interested in knowing how many Acts there are in Silksong, we're going to give a major SPOILER WARNING; as for most, this will come as a surprise.
While it may seem that there are only two Acts in Hollow Knight Silksong, there are in fact, 3 Acts in total for Silksong. The third and final Act can only be unlocked once you've completed the following prerequisites.
- Complete all Wishes throughout Pharloom
- Rescues 22/30 Flees, and have the caravan move to it's final location in the Putrified Ducts.
- Once completed, head back to Songclave and accept the Silk and Song quest.
- Completing this quest will begin Act 3
