Team Cherry has been keeping the majority of Silksong under wraps for years, and with the game finally released, it's nothing short of a challenging improvement on its predecessor.
Silksong differs from the original Hollow Knight in many regards, but upgrading your weapon is not one of them, as Hornet will need all the power she can muster.
Unlike Hollow Knight, however, upgrading your Needle is going to be locked behind a questline, which revolves around liberating Bellhart. Once you've completed this, Hornet can climb up to the top right house that is open, and the Pinmaster will be there to speak to.
Once you've spoken with them, they'll upgrade your Needle free of charge, as a thank you for saving their village.
