League of Legends is now gearing up for yet another season of incredible content, but before we dive into all of this, Riot has now shared what's ahead.
While much of the discussion has been into what Riot is developing, we're going to run over what they have told us about 'League of Legends 2' and beyond.

Is There Going To Be A League of Legends 2? Answered
The new yearly model for League has allowed Riot to experiment heavily at the start of each year, and we're going to witness this once again for 2026.
However, Riot is already announcing all of the changes they're looking at making in 2027 and in their new short video, and right off the bat they confirm that there is indeed NO plans for a League of Legends 2.
These rumors have circulated the rounds as of late, and this has essentially boiled down to Riot confirming that they are however making major overhauls to the game in 2027.
But, no, there is no current plans to release a second installment of League of Legends, similar to how Overwatch 2 was released.
