League of Legends 12.9 Patch Notes: Release Date, Champion Changes And New Skins

League of Legends next update, patch 12.9, arrives in mid-May.

The most recent patch changed a number of champions, buffing 14 of them with only a few nerfs.

As the next update looms, new High Noon themed skins will also be introduced into the game.

Here’s what’s new in update 12.9 for LoL.

Release Date

The 12.9 update will arrive in League of Legends on Wednesday 11th April 2022.

Here’s roughly when you can expect the update to roll out:

  • 3 am PT (NA servers)
  • 5 am GMT (EUW servers)
  • 3 am CET (EUNE servers)

      • Jump off dash now has more forgivesness when attempting to dash through a wall

    • No longer gives Pyke "Your Cut" in addition to kill gold from successful executes (last assisting ally gets "Your Cut"
    • No longer gives Pyke an extra "Your Cut" from when allies kill enemy champions within X (Pyke still gets 1x "Your Cut")
