We’re entering the onset of the 14th season of League of Legends, and this all this said, it doesn’t appear Riot is going to stop anytime soon with the patches.
Now, the full patch release calendar is here, and 14.1 is here, and the release of the new season also means a new split.
Here’s when Split 1 is going to begin for Season 14 of LoL.
League of Legends Season 14: When Does Split 1 Begin?
It’s common for the LoL development team to release a timeline of when players can expect each patch throughout the year, and it’s very much appreciated by players.
Now, players are gearing up for the release for Season 14, which means they’re also going to be diving into another split of ranked, to earn some rewards.
With in-game messages indicating that it’s beginning soon, we can estimate it’ll be around 12:00pm for most regions when the split is going to begin for players. However, NA1 and LA1 will begin at the following times.
- LA1 starts at 9am, Jan 10 CST
- NA1 starts at 7am, Jan 10 PST
Season 2024 Split 1 starts at 12:00:00 January 10, 2024 according to regional local time everywhere except for LA1 and NA1.
Here’s what else Riot had to say about this.
The season transition experience will be similar to what we had in the past: Ranked queues will be disabled for a couple of hours, and will be brought back as soon as 14.1 is up, and a couple of hours after that, Split 1 will be officially launched! The ranked games played during the downtime won’t count towards your new season progression.
