We’re well into the new year of League of Legends, and Riot's new seasonal approach has amplified the patch cadence.

Now, Season 1 is nearing its end, and we'll discuss when Riot will release the second season of LoL in 2025.

The next League of Legends patch is going to change up quite a few champions, alongside changing other elements of the game, as this is the case when it comes to most LoL patches.

The release of Season 2 will also mark the entrance of the game into an Ionia theme for Season 2, which is the homeland of characters such as Ahri, Irelia, Jhin and Yasuo.

Players better be prepareed, as Riot has now announced that Season 2 for LoL is going to be released on April 30th, 2025.
