Marvel Rivals Season 5: All New Team Ups

Marvel Rivals Season 5 has been highly anticipated for quite some time, as this will be the last season before the turn of the New Year, alongside the game's one-year anniversary.

While many are excited about the addition of Gambit and Rogue, there's also a wide array of new team ups for players to try. 

Here's what we know.

Marvel Rivals Season 5: All New Team Ups 

With Marvel Rivals approaching its one-year anniversary, Season 5 is going to be a big moment for the game, and this is marked by all of the new content.

Gambit and Rogue will be bringing their powers into the game, and NetEase removed and tweaked some of the pre-existing team ups already. 

New Team Ups

• Explosive Entanglement
  
  • Gambit and Magneto 

    • Gambit will be the anchor for this Team-Up. He charges Magneto's greatsword with kinetic energy. When Magneto uses this Team-Up ability, he can launch kinetic-charged greatsword at enemies. When it hits, it explodes and deals damage. Then it releases unstable kinetic energy that hits enemies a second time.

• Sword of Duality
  • Hawkeye and Cloak & Dagger

    • Cloak & Dagger will be the anchor for this Team-Up. They give Hawkeye's katana special light and dark energy. When Hawkeye uses his Crescent slash, it knocks enemies back and fires an energy wave. This wave passes through both allies and enemies. It heals teammates and buffs them, while it damages enemies and applies anti-heal to them.

• Blade of Konshu
  • Moon Knight and Blade

    • Moon Knight will be the anchor for this Team-Up. Using this Team-Up ability lets Blade dash forward and slash enemies with his sword. At the end of the dash, Blade does several quick sword strikes. Each strike sends out a moon blade that bounces around and damages enemies.

Adjusted Team Ups

• Primal Flame
  • Black Widow, Wolverine and Phoenix

    • Black Widow will be joining the existing Primal Flame Team-Up with Phoenix and Wolverine. With this Team-Up, Black Widow's bullets get Phoenix Force power. She can switch between regular bullets and Phoenix bullets during fights. Phoenix bullets heal allies and damage enemies, but they can't score critical hits against enemies.

Removed Team Ups

• Lunar Force
• Operation Microchip
