
Stardew Valley is now celebrating its eighth year anniversary, and with the game thriving, ConcernedApe has gone ahead and announced the release date for update 1.6.
We’re hopeful this is going to be the last update before the Haunted Chocolatier is released, but nevertheless, we’re still excited.

Stardew Valley Update 1.6: Release Date
ConcernedApe has now shared via X that update 1.6 for Stardew Valley is going to be first released on PC on March 19, 2024.
The eventual release of the update on other platforms is still up in the air, but we can assume this will take a couple of weeks.

The following content has been shared to be coming in update 1.6, and we’re still expecting more patch notes when the update is finally released.
- A new major festival
- Two new mini festivals
- New late-game content, which expands on each of the skill areas.
- New items and crafting recipes
- Joja alternatives to some of the end-game quests.
- 100+ new lines of dialogue
- Winter outfits for the villagers
- New type of reward for completing billboard requests
- (PC) Support for 8 player multiplayer
- Many small additions and adjustments
- New farm type
- New secrets & more
