PUBG is a game most of us have either tried at least once or have heard of, as the game has consistently been one of the most played games each day on Steam.
Now, they've announced a brand new title in the form of PUBG: Black Budget and we're going to run over all we know about the release date.

When Does PUBG: Black Budget Release? Answered
PUBG: Black Budget was announced on November 21st, 2025, and this is the second game currently in developed by PlayerUnknown, as they also have "Prologue: Go Wayback!" which just released.
Black Budget is going to be a unique twist, as the game is described as a "extraction shooter built around tension, survival, and the unknown."
So one that is aiming to drive the covert ops feeling, hence the title, and the meta description of the game. In terms of a release date, we're unsure at the time of writing, but you can register for the Closed Alpha here.
