      Who Developed Mewgenics? Answered

Mewgenics is the first game of 2026 to really come out of nowhere and immediately become an instant success.

The new tactical strategy game is all about raising an army of cats, and heading into battle, and we're going to go over who the developers are and why you might recognize the art style of the game.

      Here's what we know.

      Who Developed Mewgenics? Answered

Mewgenics has come onto the gaming scene and exploded on the Steam charts, with the game peaking at nearly 84,000 concurrent players, as well as reportedly earning back development costs just a few hours after release.

While the premise of the game is quite silly, the core gameplay and art style strike a tone with the popular title 'The Binding of Issac,' and maybe to your surprise, the developers of Mewgenics are Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel, with the former being the main developer behind the aforementioned title.

McMillen is also known for his work on the platformer 'Super Meat Boy', for which Glaiel is credited with works such as 'Crypt of the NecroDancer' and others.

It's also notable to mention that the pair have co-developed games before such as 'The End Is Nigh' and 'Aether'.
